A U T O M O T I V E film photography
|
The beginning of a gallery of my automotive photographs taken from early 90's through early 2000's. I used Nikon and Olympus 35mm manual SLRs, usually with Fuji Velvia. Digital was soon available, though at the time could not deliver the performance required.
Now, as a digital media student, I've taken up digital photography. There is much to say in favor of this. No film or processing costs, which used to cost hundreds of dollars each event. The learning curve is not as steep when one can instantly see results, instead of waiting days to see that you've blown a lot of shots. The downside is the loss of that beautiful look of film. Also, digital has a hard time with highlights and I was disappointed to discover I have to post process out chromatic aberration |
